One lucky Australian woman found a massive bargain at her local Coles store, bagging Christmas turkeys and roasts for $2 dollars each.

The anonymous shopper shared her haul on the popular Facebook group Markdown Addicts Australia disclosing that she found the deal in Coles on Spencer Street in Melbourne.

She was delighted with her haul, and happy to let others know about the discounts.

‘Hope your freezer is ready,’ she wrote.

There were three different types of Christmas roasts reduced to $2 in the image she shared.

Steggles frozen turkey roast breast was reduced from $16, and Steggles frozen whole bird turkeys were reduced from $34.

Ingham’s ultimate three bird roast was also on sale, with a reduction of $27, discounted from $29.

A member of the Facebook group said that the turkey is good quality as well as a good price.

‘The boxed turkey breast is really nice. We have it quite often with baked vegetables and cranberry sauce,’ she commented.

Facebook users were sent into a frenzy when they saw the post.

‘I’d buy it all and I wouldn’t even be sorry,’ one woman said.

‘Brb booking flights to Melbourne with extra baggage allowance,’ another commented.

Other users were jealous to see the mega savings. 

‘We never get discounts like that. Man I’d be so happy if I saw that,’ one woman said.

One member said the extreme discounts may have been caused by a blunder: ‘It looks like someone’s got carried away with the stock they’ve sent in early for Xmas and put it straight to clearance.’
