Krispy Kreme Australia has teamed up with Cadbury Caramilk in a sweet collaboration to create two new decadent doughnuts.

The doughnut makers ordered 16 tonnes of the fan favourite creamy caramelised chocolate to craft ‘The Caramilk Shell’ and ‘The Caramilk Ring’.

For the first time ever in Australia, Caramilk will officially feature in a sweet-baked treat – and will cost just $3.75 per doughnut.

The Shell is filled with crème, dipped in Caramilk chocolate and covered in flakes.

For those who have a soft spot for the iconic Original Glazed doughnuts, the Ring is for you. It’s an Original Glazed doughnut, dipped in Caramilk chocolate, sprinkled in flakes and finished with a white truffle drizzle.

‘The Caramilk craze didn’t go unnoticed at Krispy Kreme, so we knew we had to give Aussies the chance to taste the two iconic flavours brought together in our delicious doughnuts,’ Olivia Sutherland, marketing director at Krispy Kreme Australia, said.

‘No one can resist Caramilk, and we love coming up with new flavours for our fans which we’re sure will be an irresistibly tasty new addition to the range.’

Made with creamy, caramelised white chocolate, Caramilk is now the fastest growing chocolate brand with $56 million of sales and growing 43 per cent in the past year alone.

‘Cadbury and Krispy Kreme continue to produce really unique and tasty co-branded products, which have been delivering the wow factor to consumers across the country,’ Joanne Raven, co-branding manager ANZ at Mondelez International, said.

‘The partnership between these great brands is a growing success and we’re already collaborating on what the next taste sensation will be.’

The freshly glazed Krispy Kreme Cadbury Caramilk doughnuts are available at more than 700 7-Eleven stores, as well as via 7-Eleven Delivery in participating areas from Tuesday, September 28.

If the sell-out chocolate range is anything to go by, dough-not wait around to try it.
