In A Biskit is BACK! Shoppers go wild after spotting the iconic snacks in supermarkets – and they taste exactly like thousands of Aussies remember

  • The classic snacks disappeared in 2005 after the range was discontinued
  • Chicken and Drumstick was spotted at Woolworths on Monday for $3.20 per boxĀ

Nostalgic shoppers are going wild after spotting In A Biskit in supermarkets for the first time since the range disappeared from shelves six years ago.

After years of fans petitioning for their favourite snack to be revived, the brand has brought back two of its iconic savoury flavours – Chicken and Drumstick.

The range was spotted at Woolworths on Monday for $3.20 per box.

Fans of the snack have shared their excitement over the relaunch on social media, with many confirming the flavours taste similar to the original.

‘I just tried both, and they’re exactly the same taste,’ one customer said, while another added: ‘According to the son in law who bought five boxes today, he said they are just like the original.’

Hundreds said they couldn’t wait to get their hands on them.

‘Oh my god, they were the best savoury biscuits ever. I wish they’d bring them back exactly how they used to be,’ one woman said.Ā

Another wrote: ‘Chicken in a biscuit… best ever,’ while one added: ‘Get out of town! I love these.’

The relaunch comes just weeks after media personality Jimmy Rees started teasing fans on social media when he ‘leaked’ pictures of the two classic In A Biskit flavours – Drumstick and Chicken.

However, fans missed out on two major clues on the packaging that confirmed the In A Biskit range was coming back after disappearing in 2015.Ā

The second clue fans missed was the inclusion of ‘ad’ in his Instagram story which appeared to be an obvious giveaway that he could be promoting its return.

The brand has remained tight-lipped about the launch date – as rumours continue to swirl on social media.

‘I hope they do come back. In A Biskit was a staple in my household back in the day,’ one fan wrote, while another added: ‘Would like to see Chicken In a Biskit come back… can’t understand why they discontinued it when they were so popular.’
