With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the annual event is held to announce grant investments, recognize BCRF’s 250 investigators and their achievements in breast cancer research, and raise critical funds to help support the organization’s mission.
The actress has been a regular supporter of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation over the years.
Along with her role on Dopesick, Dawson also stars in the upcoming film, Clerks III, which wrapped the shoot in New Jersey in late August, and the dystopian series DMZ that’s set to debut on HBO.
