MAFS 2022: Seven cast members are exposed as ‘secret actors’

It’s supposed to be a program about regular people finding love.

But almost half of this year’s participants on Married At First Sight are part-time actors, having appeared in movies, reality shows and TV commercials.

Daily Mail Australia can reveal a handful of contestants – including Holly Greenstein, Anthony Cincotta and Domenica Calarco – have been performers in the past.

Despite being billed as a ‘cinema manager’ on the show, 36-year-old Holly is actually a model and part-time actress.

Her biggest role to date was on American prime-time TV show Timeless in 2017.

Holly played Claudette, a 1920s jazz singer, in the show’s first season, which followed a team attempting to stop a mysterious organisation from changing the course of history through time travel.

According to her IMBD profile, she also appeared in the 2010 action-thriller The Devil’s 6 Commandments, and The Bondi Chronicles in 2013. 

Holly’s ‘husband’ Andrew Davis is also no stranger to being in the public eye.

The 38-year-old Texan is a motivational speaker and podcaster.

Andrew hosts Not A Fitness Podcast, where he shares ‘stories about overcoming adversity and personal transformations’. 

Domenica Calarco’s résumé includes work as a social media executive, influencer, model, YouTuber and TV presenter.

Anthony Cincotta appeared in several hardware commercials and tutorials for Ryobi.

He has also starred in various films, including Murderdrome (2012) and Iron Spyder (2014) in which he played his pro-wrestling alter ego Tommy Hellfire.

More recently he acted in Sheborg (2015), and is also set to star in upcoming Aussie production Evil Fred (2023).

And while she has since deactivated her StarNow profile, Anthony’s ‘wife’ Selin Mengu is still listed as a model on several other casting websites.

‘I am an agency-represented model. Looking at working closely with makeup artists, fashion designers, photographers and promotional,’ one talent bio reads.

However, sources say Selin has since ‘given up’ on her modelling career and is now focused on caring for her three-year-old son, Roman.

Meanwhile, MAFS isn’t Selina Chhaur’s first time appearing on reality television.

The 32-year-old previously starred on Channel Seven’s short-lived dating series The Proposal.

Selina was ‘proposed’ to by Love Island star Aaron Shaw; however, things fizzled out shortly after filming wrapped.

The premise of the pageant-style show saw one single person get engaged in an hour after going through a selection of hand-picked suitors live on stage. 

Following the end of their episode, Selina released a 13-minute YouTube video explaining what happened after Aaron dropped down on one knee.

‘After the cameras and the lights and the glitz and glam was gone, the next day it was Aaron and I,’ she said.

‘We really got to know each other on a whole other level and we both just instantly knew that it was a friendship connection and that was all it was.’

Part-time model Mitch Eynaud is also no stranger to smouldering for the camera.

The Gold Coast-based financial planner, 26, is signed to Chic Management Brisbane and has appeared on several magazine covers.
