Dakota Johnson looks casually stylish while speaking at the Women at Sundance Celebration

Dakota Johnson took the stage looking casually stylish to speak at the Woman at Sundance Celebration on Saturday, after her racy joke about Armie Hammer.

The 33-year-old actress arrived at the event wearing a maroon leather trench coat lined with fur over her outfit before being seated next to Stephanie Ruhle on the stage for the event.

For the rest of her outfit, she donned a cream-colored long-sleeve shirt with small ruffles along the seams and around the cuff, navy trousers, and red boots.

She accessorized with a pin on her chest that said ‘Bans Off Our Bodies,’ in support of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund.

The Fifty Shades of Grey actress’s signature bangs were styled naturally over her forehead, and her long brunette locks were straightened and left down.

Dakota spoke alongside the host of The 11th Hour and a Senior Business Analyst for NBC News, Stephanie Ruhle.

Both women are known advocates for women’s rights and are both activists in the political world.

The Persuasion actress’s attendance at the event came days after her shocking jokes about actor Armie Hammer’s scandal as she spoke at a dinner to kick off the Sundance Film Festival.

While presenting the Luca Guadagnino Sundance Institute International Icon Award, Dakota made a comment about Armie, who was in Call Me by Your Name in 2017, a film directed by Luca.

She started off by joking around that Luca had attempted to cast her as the peach in the acclaimed film, which earned laughs from the crowd.

In the motion picture, the character played by Timothee Chalamet performed a sex act on a peach, after which Hammer’s character ate it.

‘It was here at Sundance in 2017 that audiences experienced a film that is uniquely characterized by Luca’s iconic approach to storytelling. The vision and the style of it is Call Me By Your Name. Sadly, I wasn’t in that one. It was unfortunate.’

She continued: ‘Luca had asked me to play the role of the peach, but our schedules conflicted – thank God because then I would have been another woman that Armie Hammer tried to eat!’

The daughter of Melanie Griffith, 65, and Don Johnson, 73, then alluded to Guadagnino’s 2022 film Bones and All, in which cannibalism was part of the storyline.

‘It’s been five years since that film premiered here, and Luca hasn’t stopped taking us to exciting places – who knew cannibalism was so popular?’ she said.
