Burying the hatchet! Kyle Sandilands and Brendan Fevola agree to end their feud

Kyle Sandilands and Brendan Fevola have officially agreed to end their feud, after shots were fired earlier this week.

The KIIS FM presenter, 50, called into Brendan’s Fox FM show Fifi, Fev & Nick on Thursday and agreed to make peace.

‘There’s no beef. Everyone loves everyone,’ Kyle said during the phone call.

Kyle’s co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson first tried to smooth things over by saying: ‘Fifi [Box] was right, he [Kyle] throws stuff out there like that. We love you guys. There’s no beef. We don’t want there to be beef.’

‘Speak for yourself,’ Kyle joked.

He then added with a laugh: ‘No, there’s no beef. I just wanted to let everyone know that even when I lose a couple of kilos I’m still not believed by society.’

This was in reference to a false rumour that started on the Fifi, Fev and Nick show earlier in the week that Kyle hadn’t actually performed on The Masked Singer and had instead hired a slimmer stand-in for the performance.

Former AFL star Brendan then joked the tiff was all Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes’ fault.

‘I put it all down to Hughesy,’ he said with a laugh, before they got Hughesy – who co-hosts 2Day FM’s The Morning Crew – to call through.

Kyle went on to say: ‘I don’t hate Fev at all. If I hate someone, everyone knows. There’s no beef. Everyone loves everyone.’

Tensions had escalated between the radio hosts on Tuesday when Kyle called Fifi, Fev and Nick a ‘terrible’ show, prompting Brendan to issue a stern warning on air.

Brendan told Kyle to ‘be careful’ what he says because he has a fierce temper.

The pair’s feud had begun days earlier when Kyle made a cameo appearance on The Masked Singer Australia on Sunday night.

A news website subsequently misquoted one of the show’s judges, Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes, as saying he didn’t believe Kyle actually performed on the show and instead hired a body double for the episode.

But he actually said no such thing: it was in fact Brendan who made the allegation while interviewing Hughesy on Fifi, Fev & Nick on Monday morning.

He said: ‘I reckon that it wasn’t Kyle Sandilands performing, but when he took his head off it was him! Someone else was in that suit.’

Kyle denied the claim on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Tuesday, saying: ‘It was definitely me [during the performance]. There was no stand-in.’

He went on to sledge Fifi, Fev & Nick, calling it a ‘terrible’ breakfast radio show and saying ‘no one cares about what goes on in Melbourne’.

When told of Kyle’s remarks later on Tuesday, a fired-up Brendan said: ‘He’d want to be careful. You don’t want to get me angry. I’m a different beast to Hughesy.’

‘Didn’t he say he wanted to put one on Hughesy’s chin back in the day? Geez, I hope he says that to me. If he says that to me, it’s on. Sandilands versus Fevola,’ he added.

But Brendan didn’t stop there, telling Kyle he needed to ‘grow up’.

Kyle was unmasked as Rubble from Paw Patrol on Sunday’s episode of The Masked Singer, after agreeing to take part in a single episode.
