In an interview with a news portal, Sonali said that she is enjoying working and wants to continue doing that. According to her, she is no longer an accidental actor. She has chosen to do this. The actress added that she doesn’t have an excuse if she doesn’t get it right.
Sonali also went on to say that although she enjoyed being a part of ‘Sarfarosh’, she missed the opportunity to consciously learn from her co-star Aamir Khan.
The ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ actress also spilled some beans on the OTT space. According to her, if OTT platforms wouldn’t have come, many actors wouldn’t have got a second innings. Sonali also added that ‘chalta hai’ attitude cannot last anymore and describes OTT as the best thing that has happened to the industry.
Sonali will be seen essaying the role of journalist Amina Qureshi of Awaaz Bharati in ‘The Broken News’ series. Apart from her, the show will also feature Jaideep Ahlawat and Shriya Pilgaonkar in key roles.
