Anushka Sharma opens up about shooting for ‘Chakda ‘Xpress’ after the birth of Vamika; reveals she was really nervous – Times of India

Anushka Sharma, who will next be seen in ‘Chakda ‘Xpress’, recently opened up about resuming work after the birth of her baby girl Vamika.

Talking about her experience of filming for the first time after having a baby, Anushka told a magazine in an interview that she was a part of the inception of ‘Chakda ‘Xpress’. She was supposed to have worked on it earlier but the film got postponed because of the pandemic and then she got pregnant. The actress added that when she finally began working on it, she was really nervous because she had just had a baby so she wasn’t as strong as before. Anushka hadn’t trained for 18 months, so she wasn’t in the best physical condition. Earlier, she would have really pushed herself to do different exercises in the gym.

Elaborating further, Anushka added that even though she wasn’t sure whether to take the project on or not, an inner voice kept telling her to do it. And that’s the kind of work she wants to be a part of. The actress stated that she will always be open to doing projects that are interesting and content-forward.

‘Chakda ‘Xpress’ is a biopic on Jhulan Goswami, the former captain of India’s national women’s cricket team. The film is slated for a release on an OTT platform in February 2023.
